Big Brother Naija reality star Whitemoney has confirmed that his colleague Phyna has finally received her outstanding prizes from the show’s organisers and sponsors.
Phyna, who emerged as the winner of Season 7 in 2022, had previously voiced her frustration over not receiving all her promised rewards. This led to public complaints aimed at the organisers and sponsors of the reality show.
In a recent interview with YouTuber Olufemi Daniel, Whitemoney revealed that Phyna has now been given all her pending prizes, including 1 BTC (Bitcoin). He mentioned that Phyna confided in him about this development during a recent meeting.
“I think she [Phyna] went the way she understands, the way she knows [calling out the organisers]. And it worked for her. She got everything. I was with her a few days ago and she showed me that she got her BTC,” Whitemoney said.
He added, “So that pattern worked for her. It might not work for you and I. But all of us have different approaches to things. So that’s the way she understands and she did it and it worked for her. She got her goods, she got her trip to the Maldives, she got everything she deserved.”
Phyna’s public approach to addressing the issue appears to have paid off, as she has now received all the prizes she was entitled to following her victory on the popular reality show.
