Bishop Isizoh Confirms 267 Students at Marist Comprehensive College, Nteje

The Most Reverend Denis Isizoh, Catholic Bishop of Aguleri Diocese, administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to 267 students at Marist Comprehensive College, Nteje. The ceremony, held during a Pontifical High Mass at the college chapel, included 142 male and 125 female students.

In his homily, Bishop Isizoh urged the students to uphold the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit and to avoid vices that could jeopardize their future. He emphasized unity and love, reflecting the qualities of the Trinity, and encouraged the students to exhibit generosity and perfect love towards others.

Bishop Isizoh also stressed the importance of good behavior, respect for authority, and dedication to their studies to make their parents and society proud. He called on the students to embrace peace, unity, and love to achieve success in life.

Reverend Father Vitalis Ifeka, the college chaplain, expressed gratitude to Bishop Isizoh for his pastoral visit. He also urged parents and guardians to closely monitor their children to ensure they stay on the right path.

In interviews following the ceremony, newly confirmed students such as Kamsiyochukwu Ezeh, Nicole Ayaborsi, and Somunachimnyi Ezeh expressed their joy and satisfaction with the results of their rigorous catechism classes.

The Pontifical High Mass concluded with a thanksgiving and the formal confirmation ceremony.
