Burna Boy Becomes Nigerian Artist with Most US Billboard Hot 100 Entries

Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has set a new record as the Nigerian artist with the most charting songs on the US Billboard Hot 100. Burna Boy achieved this milestone with the debut of *We Pray* by Coldplay, featuring him, Little Simz, Elyanna, and Tini Stoessel, which entered the chart at No. 87 this week.

This marks Burna Boy’s sixth entry on the prestigious chart, surpassing his colleague Tems, who has five charting songs. Wizkid, the first Nigerian artist to make the Billboard Hot 100, has four entries, while Rema, CKay, Fireboy, Davido, and Lojay each have one.

Burna Boy is now just one song away from surpassing South Africa’s Seether as the African artist with the most Billboard Hot 100 chart entries of all time.
