Chima Udoye has emerged as the winner of the reality TV singing competition, Nigerian Idol Season 9. He secured the victory on Sunday after months of competing against some of Nigeria’s best vocalists.
The grand finale began with a rendition of John Legend’s “Glory” performed by all 10 contestants. The event featured special appearances from past winners of the show, Progress and Victory Gbakara. The audience was also treated to guest performances by Simi and Chike before the top 3 contestants, Lammy, Chioma, and Chima, took the stage for their final performances.
As the winner, Chima walks away with N30 million in cash, a music deal including a music video, a DSTV Explora with a one-year premium subscription, and a brand new SUV.
