Anambra State Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Beverly Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche, has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo on receiving the Champions Newspaper Governor of the Year Award for Infrastructure and Rural Development. She described the award as a call to continue excelling in delivering democracy dividends to Ndị Anambra.
In a congratulatory message on Sunday, following the award ceremony in Lagos where the Governor was represented by his deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Commissioner Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche praised Governor Soludo for his steadfast commitment to his promises to the people of Anambra. She highlighted that the award acknowledges his hard work and serves as an encouragement to achieve even more.
She outlined significant infrastructural projects under the Solution administration, including the construction of over 500 kilometers of roads across the 21 Local Government Areas, the Solution Fun City, the New Government House, the Pharmaceutical Hub in Ogboji, the Coordinated Drug Wholesale Centre in Oba, and the Anambra Mixed-Use Industrial City. These projects are expected to transform the state’s landscape and economy upon completion.
Commissioner Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche urged state residents to continue supporting the Governor’s efforts to make Anambra a livable and prosperous homeland. She also called on Ndi Anambra in the diaspora to respond to the Governor’s invitation to invest in their home state.
