Habeeb Okikiola, the controversial Nigerian singer better known as Portable, has disclosed that he resisted pressures to engage in a feud with fellow artist Davido, citing past support from the DMW boss.
During an Instagram Live session on Thursday, Portable, who is currently in the United States, explained that he could not be pitted against someone who had previously helped him. Emphasizing his loyalty to those who have supported him, the ‘Zazu’ crooner shared that Davido had offered to take him out.
“Don’t fight your helper. They pushed me to fight with Davido but I didn’t listen to them because I’m loyal to my helper. Once I see Davido, I’m blessed,” Portable said.
