Cristiano Ronaldo Sets New Saudi League Record for Goals in a Single Season

Al Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo has set a new Saudi League record by scoring 35 goals in a single season. The landmark achievement came with a powerful header against Al Ittihad, contributing to Al Nassr’s 2-0 victory.

At 39 years old, Ronaldo scored twice in the match, bringing his season tally to 35 goals and surpassing the previous record of 34 goals set by Abderrazak Hamdallah during the 2018-19 season. In addition to his goal-scoring prowess, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has also provided 11 assists across 31 games this season.

While Al Hilal has already secured the Saudi Pro League (SPL) title with three games remaining, Ronaldo and his teammates at Al Nassr have another chance at silverware as they prepare to face Al Hilal in the King Cup of Champions final.
