Nigerian afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has suggested the possibility of retiring from music in the wake of recent controversies.
The ‘Unavailable’ singer made the revelation on Thursday night while addressing manipulated images and videos circulating online, purportedly targeting him.
Expressing frustration, Davido implied that certain individuals are determined to force him out of the music industry. In a statement shared on his social media handle, he said, “Y’all really want me out of the game that bad?? Oya after the next album, I no do again. So una fit get peace.”
This announcement comes amidst a wave of challenges and controversies surrounding the artist. Davido had previously voiced concerns about the lack of peace experienced by many in the music industry since his arrival.
