Famous Afrobeats singer Davido has announced the launch of his own social media application called Chatter. The announcement was made in a trending post on his official X handle on Friday.
Davido revealed that he co-owns the application with his close friend, Sir Banko. He shared that Chatter is a social audiovisual utility platform designed to connect content creators with a lively community and amplify their voices.
This marks Davido’s third internet project in the past eight months. Earlier, he introduced his cryptocurrency, $DAVIDO coin, which unfortunately crashed days after its launch, leading many cryptocurrency fans to label it a scam and a rug-pull.
In his post, Davido expressed excitement about the launch of Chatter, stating:
“Chatter is now live in the App Store WORLDWIDE! Just 5 months ago, I revealed my role in this amazing platform, and today it’s finally here! Download now ➡️ [Chatter App Link]. Need an invite? Ask a friend on the app or reach out to @Chatter_US on X & Instagram.”
The app is now available for download, and users can join the platform by requesting an invite from friends already on the app or by contacting Chatter’s social media handles.
