Afrobeats superstar, Davido, has expressed pride in maintaining his record as the only artist to dominate the top 16 spots on the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs Chart for two consecutive days, even after the release of Wizkid’s new album, *Morayo*.
According to *Daily Post*, while Wizkid’s *Morayo* album broke several records on Spotify, it was unable to surpass Davido’s remarkable achievement, with songs from the album failing to claim the top 16 positions for two days in a row—an unprecedented feat set by Davido’s *Timeless* album last year.
In response to the continued success of his record, a music-monitoring platform, The Data Dash, took to X (formerly Twitter), writing, “@davido remains the only artist to occupy the Top 16 spots on the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs Chart for 2 consecutive days, with all new songs from his album *Timeless*.”
Davido, never one to shy away from celebrating his success, reposted the message with a confident declaration: “Remains the only!”
