This acknowledgment came on Tuesday when D’banj shared a video clip from his courtesy visit to Don Jazzy. During the visit, he handed over an invitation card for his 20th-anniversary dinner in the music industry. The moment was described as nostalgic, reflecting on the milestones they achieved together.
Sharing the video on his X handle, D’banj wrote: “My 20-year journey cannot be complete without @DONJAZZY again! Giving him the invite to my anniversary dinner was a moment filled with nostalgia. As we both celebrate 20 years in the industry, I’m reminded of the countless memories and milestones we’ve shared together. D’banj and Don Jazzy co-founded Mo’Hits Records in 2004, which became a powerhouse in the Nigerian music industry. However, the label disbanded in 2012 due to differences in interests. Following the split, Don Jazzy established Mavins Record Label, while D’banj launched DB Records.
