Controversial reality star DeeOne has questioned singer Davido’s recent statement about the value of his fiancée Chioma’s engagement ring, casting doubts on the claim that it is worth “two to three Rolls Royces”.
In a viral video, Davido boasted about the extravagance of Chioma’s engagement ring, suggesting its value equates to multiple Rolls Royce cars. Responding to this claim via an Instagram video message, DeeOne challenged Davido to provide concrete proof to substantiate his assertion.
“I don’t believe Davido’s claim that Chioma’s engagement ring is worth three Rolls Royces,” DeeOne remarked in the video. “I’m not saying that there are no rings worth two, three Rolls Royces, but you can’t just come online because you’re rich and say a ring is worth three Rolls Royces. Show us the receipt.”
DeeOne continued to question the validity of such a high valuation for an engagement ring, suggesting that even if it were a wedding ring, claiming it to be worth multiple luxury cars seems excessive. He pointed out the need for Davido to back up his statement with evidence, emphasizing that extravagant claims without proof shouldn’t be simply accepted by the public.
“Where’s the evidence that it’s true? We need proof,” DeeOne urged. “You can’t just throw outrageous statements at the public to consume. If you want to show off, show off with evidence.”
