Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has announced that she has accepted an apology from Pastor Chris Okafor, the founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry.
Ogala made this known in a Facebook post on Sunday, stating that the apology was all she had requested.
Earlier, the actress had shared a video showing Pastor Okafor seeking forgiveness. In the video, the cleric was seen kneeling before members of his congregation as he expressed regret over what he described as mistakes made in the past.
The development follows earlier allegations by Ogala, who had publicly accused Pastor Okafor of ending a relationship with her despite previously promising marriage.
While addressing the matter, Pastor Okafor said he was not engaging in further disputes, maintaining that many of the allegations against him were untrue. However, he said he was apologizing to anyone who felt hurt or offended by his actions.
He reiterated his willingness to make amends, stating that he was prepared to offer restitution to any woman he may have offended. He also appealed for forgiveness from the church and the public, asking for prayers and understanding.
