Stakeholders in Ihiala local government Area met on Easter Monday to review the political happenings in the Federal constituency.
They used the occasion to reaffirm that it is the turn of Ebonesii to produce the next Federal Legislator and therefore adopted the Deputy Speaker of the Anambra state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Paschal Agbodike who is contesting under the platform of APGA party as their consensus candidate.
Speaking shortly after the meeting, Hon. Agbodike attributed the massive support to the love the people have for him. According to him, stakeholders from all the communities in Ihiala LGA, 20 ward APGA party chairmen and executives unanimously adopted him as their candidate.
He thanked them for their demonstration of love, support and trust and promised that he will never let them down.
Commenting on the development, a stakeholder in the Constituency, Chief Juventus Chinweike Okoli confirmed that Ihiala people have pitched tent with Dr. Agbodike and are solidly behind his aspiration to represent the people in the Federal House of Representatives.
