The 38-year-old artist shared his reflections on Instagram, writing, “I used to look up to some people then I hit a growth spurt…$$$,” hinting at his evolution and surpassing those he once admired.
Drake first gained recognition for his role as Jimmy Brooks in the teen drama series *Degrassi: The Next Generation* (2001–2008) before transitioning to music. His debut mixtape, *Room for Improvement,* released in 2006, marked the beginning of a career that would make him one of the best-selling artists globally and the best-selling rapper of all time.
Among his many achievements, Drake’s hit song *One Dance,* featuring Wizkid and Kyla, holds a Guinness World Record as the first single to surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify.
