The Traditional Ruler of Ekwulobia community, Aguata Local Government Area, His Royal Highness, Igwe Engr. Emmanuel Chukwukadibia Onyeneke has described the Ekwulobia flyover, a project being executed by the government of Professor Chukwuma Soludo as a miracle.
Igwe Onyeneke made this known yesterday when he received members of the I-Witness Media Team in his palace at Ekwulobia, the headquarters of Aguata Council area.
He praised the governor for turning the ugly stories of the town around. According to him, the town now assume full status as one of the four biggest cities after Onitsha, Awka and Nnewi in the state.
The traditional ruler said that the ongoing Ekwulobia township stadium, the upgrading of Ekwulobia general hospital, numerous dualized roads, the urban terminal and the flyover were perceived initially by the people as “usual government promises” with the initial discomfort but that the people had started seeing the beauty, the importance and benefits of all the projects, thanks to Nwa Mgbafor, Governor Soludo.
Highlighting the gigantic nature of the flyover, Igwe Onyeneke pointedly said that, ” the flyover is a miracle. We never thought it is possible. We never dreamt of the calibre of infrastructure that the governor is depositing here. We are happy and we thank the Governor for his magnanimity in projects awards and execution.”
