The Enugwu-Ukwu Ambassadors, a Lagos-based social group, recently held their annual get-together in Enugwu-Ukwu, Njikoka Local Government Area, where they inducted new members and donated educational materials to schools and students in the community.
The event, which drew the presence of the Traditional Ruler of Enugwu-Ukwu, Igwe Ralph Ekpeh, members of his cabinet, and other prominent members of the community, showcased the group’s commitment to fostering education and community development.
Sir Benito Ozigbo, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the association, described the group as a network of young individuals dedicated to supporting one another and advancing the interests of Enugwu-Ukwu. He reaffirmed the group’s readiness to collaborate with the state government in addressing challenges such as insecurity in the community.
Dr. Sochima Nwadogu, who received the donations on behalf of Ide Secondary School, Enugwu-Ukwu, thanked the group for their generosity and assured that the educational materials would be put to good use.
Expressing gratitude to the Enugwu-Ukwu Ambassadors, Igwe Ekpeh lauded their focus on education and security, emphasizing that their efforts would have a lasting impact on the community, particularly the students.
