Femi Adebayo’s epic Netflix Original Yoruba movie, *Jagun Jagun*, has received 12 nominations at the 2024 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards. The film is nominated in categories such as Best Indigenous Film, Best Supporting Actor, Director of the Year, Best Use of Makeup, Best Cinematography, Best Costume, Best Actor, Best Sound, Best Soundtrack, Best Production Design, Best Special Effects, and Best Actress.
The actor took to his X handle (formerly Twitter) on Saturday to express his excitement over the achievement. In a viral post, he wrote, “Wow Guys! We’ve done it Again!! Delighted to announce that *JAGUN JAGUN – THE WARRIOR* (a Netflix Original Movie) has been nominated for Twelve (12) Awards at the 2024 BON Awards.”
The nominations come shortly after *Jagun Jagun*, which was released in 2023, secured seven nominations at the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
This recognition further solidifies *Jagun Jagun*’s impact on the Nollywood industry and highlights its outstanding production values across multiple facets of filmmaking.
