Osimhen’s performance marked his third league goal of the season. He initially opened his account with a determined effort in the 3-3 draw against Kasimpasa before being sidelined by a hamstring injury.
The Napoli loanee’s contribution helped the defending champions return to winning form, bolstered by the fact that their title rivals Besiktas dropped points over the weekend.
Galatasaray’s recent triumphs have come with both pressure and relief.
