German Tactician Bruno Labbadia Appointed New Head Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed Bruno Labbadia as the new head coach of the Super Eagles, Nigeria’s men’s national football team. The announcement was made early Tuesday morning after an extensive search for a new coach.

In an official statement, the NFF confirmed that Labbadia, a German tactician, has agreed to take charge of the team with immediate effect. NFF General Secretary Dr. Mohammed Sanusi stated that the Executive Committee approved the appointment based on a recommendation from the Technical and Development Sub-Committee.

Labbadia’s appointment follows the departure of Finidi George, who left the role after a brief tenure.
