Governor Soludo Hailed as Nigeria’s Leading Advocate for Education

Anambra State’s Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Engineer Julius Chukwuemeka, has praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo, declaring him the most education-friendly governor in Nigeria.

Speaking at a ceremony in Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area, Engineer Chukwuemeka highlighted that no other governor in Nigeria has employed over 8,000 teachers within just two years of taking office. He also noted that Governor Soludo’s implementation of total free basic education has boosted the number of students in public schools and contributed to reducing insecurity in the state.

The Commissioner also announced the revitalization of previously defunct water facilities in public schools across the state, many of which are now completed and powered by solar systems, ensuring a reliable water supply for the schools and their surrounding communities.

Among the dignitaries at the event were former House of Representatives member Hon. Chinedu Obidigwe, who represented Anambra East and West Federal Constituency, and Chief Primus Odili, Chief of Staff to former Governor Willie Obiano.
