Governor Soludo Inspects Pharmaceutical Hub Project, Urges Ndi Anambra to Ignore Sit-at-Home Order

As part of his regular monitoring to ensure that residents of Anambra State continue their daily activities on Mondays, Governor Chukwuma Soludo visited Oba in Idemili South Local Government Area to inspect the ongoing construction at the Pharmaceutical Hub International Market.

During the inspection, Governor Soludo urged the contractor to expedite the pace of work on the new Pharmaceutical Hub. He also encouraged residents of Idemili South to disregard the Monday sit-at-home order imposed by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), assuring them that security patrols were in place to prevent any disruptions.

At Afor Nnobi, businesses were open, vehicles moved freely, and there was vibrant activity, with shops and petrol stations operating as usual. The governor’s presence was met with praise from residents, who hailed his efforts in maintaining peace and fostering development.

Mrs. Amaka Oba, Chairman of Idemili South LGA, commended Governor Soludo’s commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises, particularly through the construction of the new Pharmaceutical Hub. She noted that the governor’s administration is focused on elevating the state, ensuring that Idemili South benefits from the Solution Agenda.

A resident of Nnobi Town, speaking anonymously, emphasized the negative impact the sit-at-home order has had on businesses, especially on Mondays, which mark the start of the week. He encouraged fellow residents to continue their normal activities without fear of harassment.
