Governor Soludo Leads Tributes as Nigerians Bid Farewell to Late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, joined Nigerians from across the nation to pay final respects to the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represented Anambra South at the National Assembly.

The burial mass, held at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, Umuanuka Otolo Nnewi, drew dignitaries, clergy, and family members to honor the life and legacy of the late Senator.

Governor Soludo described the late Ubah as a younger brother and close friend, reflecting on his vibrant personality and the profound loss his death represents. The Governor urged attendees to honor Ubah’s memory by embodying the values he lived for and offered words of comfort to his grieving family and the state at large.

In his homily, Peter Cardinal Okpalaeke emphasized the spiritual significance of the mass, urging the congregation to focus on treasures that endure eternally and reminding them of their duty to support those in need within society. He also prayed for divine consolation for the bereaved family.

The solemn ceremony was attended by members of the Ubah family, senators, prominent Nigerians, and clergy, reflecting the widespread impact and legacy of the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
