Governor Chukwuma Soludo earlier yesterday met with the management of Shanahan University, led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Josephat Oguejiofor, to discuss the advancement of quality education in Anambra State.
During the meeting, the governor emphasized the need for the university to prioritize excellence by attracting and retaining top teaching staff globally. He noted that the quality of education is largely dependent on the quality of teachers and the standard of teaching.
Governor Soludo urged the institution to produce well-rounded graduates capable of making meaningful contributions to society. He assured that his administration would support the university in areas requiring state intervention, as part of efforts to improve education standards across the state.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to strategic investments in public schools and supporting mission schools within available resources.
