In a landmark event in Awka, the Anambra State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) honored Governor Chukwuma Soludo with the prestigious “Icon of Societal Transformation” award. The recognition highlights the Governor’s commitment to implementing people-centered policies and driving transformative progress across the state.
While accepting the award, Governor Soludo expressed deep gratitude, viewing the recognition as both a commendation and a call to intensify his efforts. He reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to fulfilling its mandate, particularly emphasizing the ongoing state of emergency declared on security in Anambra State.
The Governor also called for collective responsibility in combating idolatry, which he identified as a growing challenge in the southeast region, urging unity in building a stronger state and nation.
Bishop Moses Ezedebego, the State Chairman of PFN, commended Governor Soludo’s visionary leadership and assured him of the Fellowship’s unwavering support. The event drew notable attendees, including the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, as well as Archbishops, Bishops, church leaders, and PFN coordinators from across Anambra State.
