Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill into law, signaling a commitment to transformative development in the coming year.
The budget, totaling ₦606.99 billion, was signed at the Governor’s Lodge in Amawbia. It allocates ₦467.5 billion (77%) to capital expenditure and ₦139.5 billion (23%) to recurrent expenditure, emphasizing infrastructure and development projects.
Governor Soludo expressed confidence that the budget would drive significant changes across the state, aligning with his administration’s vision for a livable and prosperous Anambra.
The fiscal plan is expected to address key areas such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic growth, positioning the state for sustained progress in 2025.
