Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has appointed Dr. Law Mefor as the state’s new Commissioner for Information, in a move aimed at bolstering effective communication between the government and its citizens.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Government House in Awka, where Governor Soludo expressed his confidence in Dr. Mefor’s ability to excel in the role. Mefor, a seasoned journalist and communication expert, was chosen for the position based on his extensive experience and proven track record in the media industry.
In his acceptance speech, Dr. Mefor thanked the Governor for the opportunity to serve, pledging to prioritize transparency, accountability, and open communication. He assured the people of Anambra that his office would work closely with the media to ensure that government policies and programs are effectively communicated throughout the state.
