Governor Soludo Visits Borno, Expresses Solidarity with Flood Victims

Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has visited Borno State to express solidarity and offer support to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum and the people affected by the recent devastating floods. The disaster, triggered by the collapse of the Alau Dam, has displaced thousands and impacted over a million residents.

Governor Soludo’s visit aimed to assess the humanitarian crisis firsthand and extend assistance to the affected communities. He was accompanied by a high-level delegation, including officials from the Federal Ministry of Health, the Primary Health Development Agency, and international organizations such as the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and the Emeka Offor Foundation.

Speaking during his visit, Governor Soludo emphasized the importance of unity and support during times of crisis. “This is a moment for us to come together, show compassion, and lend a helping hand to those in need. We must stand in solidarity to help rebuild lives and restore hope.”

Governor Soludo also paid a courtesy visit to the Palace of the Shehu of Borno, offering prayers for strength and comfort for the flood victims as they recover from the disaster.
