High Chief Dr. Azubuike Ekweozor (Ide Umuawulu, Nwanayoeze) has through his Charity organization,
“Ide Global Movement”, given scholarship to five outstanding students of St. John’s Innovation Institute of Management and Technology Neni, in Anaocha Local Government Area.
The students received the scholarship from “Ide Global Movement”, during the 2024 exhibition ceremony of the institution.
Chief Ekweozor also through the non governmental organization, supported the school with the sum of five hundred thousand naira during the event.
St. John’s Innovation Institute of Management and Technology Neni, is an institution where young people are groomed in various skills, including Cosmetology, confectioneries, fashion and designing, among others.
In an address, the Founder Ide Global Movement, Chief Ekweozor who was the Chairman on the occasion, represented by the Media Aide, Mr Casmir Obiegbolu and Comrade Mmaduabuchi Egbeocha said he decided to sponsor the students through his foundation as part of his commitment towards youths development in line with the efforts of Governor Chukwuma Soludo towards making the youths self-reliant and employers of labour.
High Chief Ekweozor encouraged the beneficiaries to endeavour to utilize the opportunity in order to be useful to themselves and their various families on graduation.
In separate interviews, the Rector of St. John’s Innovation Institute of Management and Technology Neni, Reverend Father Raymond Umennajiuba and his deputy, Reverend Father Anthony Okoye-Atu thanked High Chief Ekweozor for his various support to the institution, and assured the school’s commitment to ensuring quality education for the students, even as they appealed to other well-to-do individuals and groups to come forward and support the school in addressing the various needs it still faces.
The Deputy Governor of Anambra State, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor, among other dignitaries were present during the event.
