Former lawmaker Hon. Chinedu Obidigwe has asserted that Governor Chukwuma Soludo and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) remain unbeatable in the 2025 Anambra governorship election. He dismissed opposition candidates as “pretenders” and maintained that Soludo has fulfilled his campaign promises, making his re-election a necessity.
Obidigwe described Soludo as a statesman rather than a typical politician, emphasizing his futuristic vision and commitment to security, law, and order. He defended the launch of Operation Udo Ga Chi, stating that it has improved security and boosted investor confidence in Anambra.
On zoning, Obidigwe insisted that Anambra’s political arrangement supports Soludo’s second term, warning that electing a non-Anambra South candidate could disrupt the existing rotation system. He urged voters to support APGA to sustain ongoing development projects.
Speaking on his political future, Obidigwe expressed gratitude for the endorsement by his constituents for a return to the House of Representatives in 2027, promising to continue delivering democratic dividends.
