The traditional ruler of Ekwulobia community, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra state, His Royal Highness, Igwe Engr. Emmanuel Chukwukadibia Onyeneke has conferred the chieftaincy title of Ikuku-Udo Ekwulobia on Chief Engineer Emeka Ezenwanne
Honourable Ezenwanne was given the title earlier today, December 31, 2024 during this years ofala festival of the traditional ruler which held in his palace in Ekwulobia.
The traditional ruler, Igwe Onyeneke while making his brief remarks before the chieftaincy conferrment stated that Engineer Ezenwanne had been a great friend of the community and critical partner in the development of Ekwulobia.
He congratulated him and urged him not to relent as the chieftaincy title was ment to reward and encouraged him to continue supporting the peace, security and development of Ekwulobia.
After taking the title, Engineer Emeka Ezenwanne thanked the people of Ekwulobia especially Igwe Onyeneke for the honour done him. He pointed out that his relationship with Ekwulobia was longstanding and beneficial.
While reminding the people of what he had done for them in the past, the former Commissioner for Housing and Public Utilities in the state promised to continue supporting the security initiatives of the community and its development. He informed that Ekwulobia indigenes benefited in his skills acquisition programs through Dalchi Foundation.
Engineer Ezenwanne was accompanied to the event by his amiable wife, Lolo Dr Mrs Sandra Emeka Ezenwanne; his brothers, Chief Nonoso Ezenwanne and Mr Okechukwu Ezenwanne among other relatives, friends and well-wishers.
