The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) has acknowledged that Nigerians survived the socio-economic hardships of 2024 only by the grace of God, urging the government to prioritize insecurity, corruption, economic recovery, food security, and social amenities in the coming year.
In a statement by its National Chairman, Yusuf Dantalle, IPAC highlighted the unprecedented economic challenges faced by the nation, emphasizing the need for unity and collective effort to deepen democracy and build a better Nigeria for future generations.
“We are grateful to God for His mercies, protection, and care, which have reinforced our hope and faith in consolidating our democracy and building a just, equitable, and prosperous society in 2025,” the statement read.
IPAC commended the resilience and sacrifices of Nigerians, urging elected officials to recognize that sovereignty resides with the people and to uphold their trust. The council called for an objective appraisal of 2024’s successes and failures, advocating for renewed dedication to national progress.
### Key Recommendations by IPAC:
