Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has revealed that a threatening letter was delivered to her mother’s office just months after her wedding to Tanzanian singer, Juma Jux.
The disclosure comes in the wake of a fire outbreak that damaged the actress’s office. While the cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed, Priscilla hinted at a possible link to the earlier threat.
According to her, the letter came from a group identifying themselves as “aggrieved” and contained menacing statements directed at Iyabo and her daughter. It read in part: “You put someone’s life in trouble and you are out enjoying giving out your daughter in marriage abi? O ma laya o, you cannot escape in the next three months as we are out monitoring you… That your daughter will not enjoy her marriage. Shebi we are all there on that wedding day. Watch and see – Aggrieved group.”
Priscilla stated that Iyabo Ojo, who was in Tanzania at the time for her wedding, was unaware of the letter until she returned to Nigeria. The influencer also announced plans to trace the individual who delivered the letter and share the footage with both the public and police authorities.
Reacting to the fire incident, Iyabo Ojo expressed gratitude that no lives were lost. She thanked the Nigerian Fire Service and her staff for their quick response in salvaging the situation.
“The devil tested us today, but God said no. With God on my side, we will bounce back bigger and better,” she said in a post shared on her Instagram page.
