The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced its impending release of the results for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), following the conclusion of the examination.
Scheduled for a press briefing in Abuja on Monday, JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, will address journalists on the outcome of the examination and related matters, according to a notice distributed to media outlets in the capital city.
The notice, disseminated by the Board’s Head of Public Relations, Fabian Benjamin, reveals that while results for candidates who took the UTME in the initial days are set for release on Monday, others may follow suit after further scrutiny.
JAMB had previously clarified its decision to delay the release, citing the need for comprehensive verification processes to uphold the integrity of the results. This includes addressing concerns such as impersonation and biometric irregularities.
With over 1.9 million candidates sitting for the 2024 UTME across more than 700 Computer-Based Test centers nationwide, the examination, which commenced on April 19, 2024, is slated for conclusion today.
