The incident began when Kanayo hosted Yul’s elder brother, Linc Edochie, on his podcast and discussed Yul’s controversial marriage to actress Judy Austin. During the interview, Linc advised Yul to keep his marital affairs private and off social media.
In reaction to the interview, Yul took to Instagram to express his anger, calling Linc out and referring to Kanayo as “stupid.” The post quickly went viral, sparking significant backlash from fans and followers who alerted Kanayo to the insult.
Following the incident, Kanayo discreetly unfollowed Yul on Instagram. A recent check confirmed that Yul is no longer on Kanayo’s following list, marking a public rift between the two Nollywood stars.
