Kano Government Revokes Actress Samha M. Inuwa’s License Over Indecent Dressing

The Kano State government has revoked the operating license of actress Samha M. Inuwa, citing indecent dressing and the posting of vulgar content.

The move, announced by the Kano State Censorship Board’s Information Officer, Abdullahi Sani Sulaiman, also includes a 12-month ban on the actress from appearing in any films and censorship of productions featuring her.

Sulaiman revealed in a statement on Saturday that the decision followed repeated warnings to the actress regarding her “crude dressing and vulgar displays,” which violated the Board’s regulations. Despite the warnings, Samha allegedly continued to disregard the guidelines.

The action comes in response to numerous complaints from Kano residents about the actress’s conduct, which the government deemed inappropriate for public consumption.

The development highlights the Board’s commitment to upholding cultural and moral standards in the state’s entertainment industry.
