Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho is close to finalizing a move to La Liga club Sevilla. According to Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg, Sevilla has reached a verbal agreement with Iheanacho.
The 27-year-old striker is scheduled to undergo medical examinations at the club next week. Iheanacho will join the Rojiblancos on a free transfer, following his departure from Leicester City last month upon the expiration of his contract.
Iheanacho spent seven years at Leicester City, contributing significantly to the team’s efforts during his tenure.
Earlier this summer, another Nigerian player, Chidera Ejuke, also joined Sevilla, adding to the club’s roster of talented forwards.
