Former Prime Minister/Defense Minister of Dubai/Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, and Prof Chukwuma Soludo, Governor of Anambra State and Former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, share a common vision: transforming their respective domains into thriving hubs of development in very critical periods.

As the chairman of Anambra Vision 2070, Gov. Charles Soludo-CFR who already by God’s grace, conceived the vision of becoming the Governor of Anambra State, carefully led the structuring of a Prosperous Smart Mega City in the mold of the very topmost cities around the world. This Smart Mega City emergence was a 50 year plan which Gov Soludo prayed to God to allow him supervise the foundation phase. He further emphasized on the exertness and clarity of his work plan when he said on the very last lines of the page three (3) of The People’s Manifesto; _”I have thought through our challenges and the disruptive changes needed to secure the future. *We commit to Vigorously implementing the foundational phase of Vision 2070.*”_

As an economic expert, Governor Soludo’s vision for Anambra, dubbed “The African Dubai-Taiwan,” aims to unleash the state’s potential. His agenda focuses on empowering citizens, fostering entrepreneurship, and building modern cities.
Today, under 2 years and 7 months, there is a new lease of life in Onitsha, there is a status upgrade in Awka befitting of a place called the Capital of Anambra State, there is the emergence of Ekwulobia modern city, there are now, brand new extra five specialist and general hospitals in Anambra to add to the existing 3 which he already re-equipped and upgraded.
Through 1 youth 2 skills, this Governor is about to complete the creation of thirty thousand skills for 15 thousand Anambra youths.
For the first time anywhere around the world in recorded history, Governor Soludo a State Governor employed five thousand teachers within six months in office and has now completed the employment of eight thousand one hundred and fifteen teachers, declared free education for all public schools from Basic Classes to Senior Secondary Schools across the State, making quality education accessible to every child in Anambra State regardless of their background, with a profound impact on the lives of many families, enabling students to complete their education without the financial burden that often hinderd their progress, consciously addressing the teacher-student ratio and improving the quality of education in the State. What then is the difference between the founder of Dubai and C. C Soludo?

By placing trained and dedicated teachers in schools, the Governor has strengthened the foundation for academic excellence in Anambra, raising a new generation of educated, responsible, and empowered citizens who will contribute to the continuous development of our dear state and nation towards the achievement of Anambra Vision 2070

*Beyond Governance Structures*
The success of these leaders lie not in their governance models, but in their ability to:

– *Inspire*: Foster a sense of shared purpose, Economic, sociocultural and social-political pride. Soludo preference for made in Anambra products comes to mind
– *Innovate*: Embrace cutting-edge solutions to drive growth. Gov Soludo established Solution Innovation District to create an international digital hub and Anambra Silicon Valley to be situated at the Present Government House which is about to be moved away to a new one and a new lodge.
– *Collaborate*: Engage stakeholders, from citizens to international partners. Soludo has leveraged on his well known international connections in the conceptualization of his development ideas… Then locally, Little wonder he had the present Governor of Abia State in his “Anambra” Transition Committee and more importantly, his PPCP (Public Private Community Partnership) Model better illustrates Soludo’s citizen driven development template, as he has recorded unprecedented achievements through it.
