Mark Okoye II has delivered a valedictory speech at the Anambra State Executive Council, marking the conclusion of his tenure in the state government as he transitions to his new role as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Southeast Development Commission (SEDC).
Okoye, who began his public service career 13 years ago as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Investments, expressed gratitude for the experiences that have shaped him over the years. With the permission of Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, he took the opportunity to reflect on his journey from the private sector into governance.
“As I step into my new role, I carry with me the invaluable lessons of service—knowing that hard work, disciplined execution, and relentless commitment always yield extraordinary results,” he stated.
Okoye acknowledged the impact of his time in the Anambra State government and expressed readiness for the challenges ahead in his leadership of the SEDC.
