Renowned American rapper Megan Thee Stallion, also known as Megan Pete, is facing accusations of sexual harassment from her personal photographer, Emilio Garcia. Garcia, who has been working with Megan since 2018, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, alleging that the hip-hop star compelled him to witness her engaging in a sexual act while inside a moving vehicle.
According to statements made by Garcia’s attorney, Ron Zambrano, the photographer found himself in an uncomfortable and inappropriate situation, being forced to observe Megan’s intimate encounter with another woman. Zambrano emphasized that Garcia should never have been subjected to such circumstances during his professional engagement with the rapper.
The lawsuit further outlines additional grievances, including violations of employment standards and derogatory remarks about Garcia’s weight. In response, Garcia is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages, asserting that the incidents amount to clear instances of sexual harassment and fat-shaming.
On the other hand, Megan Thee Stallion has vehemently denied the allegations leveled against her. Her attorney, Alex Spiro, released a statement asserting that the lawsuit appears to be primarily motivated by a desire for financial gain. Spiro emphasized that the lawsuit lacks a formal sexual harassment claim and includes sensationalized accusations aimed at tarnishing Megan’s reputation.
Describing the lawsuit as an employment claim aimed at securing monetary compensation, Spiro affirmed Megan’s intent to address the matter through legal proceedings. The rapper’s legal team remains steadfast in their position and is prepared to defend Megan against the allegations presented in the lawsuit.
