Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has declared Real Madrid as the biggest club in the world. His statement comes amid speculation linking Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold with a move to the Spanish giants next summer.
In a recent conversation with Bookmaker Casino Hawks, Owen reflected on his own career decisions and commented on the current situation. “With Trent Alexander-Arnold and the Real Madrid speculation, I was also put in a position during my career in which I had to make a quick decision on my future, and it was a tricky one,” Owen said.
He continued, “Obviously, Real Madrid at the moment are the best team in Europe. They are the biggest team in the world and have that iconic kit and their players… it’s the best stage in Europe.”
