Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, a controversial media personality and actor, has stirred debate with his recent remarks, asserting that any man who permits his partner to have a male “bestie” isn’t a “real man.”
In a video message shared via his Instagram account, Nedu cautioned men against tolerating their girlfriends or spouses having close male friends. He stated unequivocally, “If you’re a real man never in your life allow your woman whether it’s your girlfriend, fiancée or wife have a male bestie. Don’t allow it. I know what I’m saying. A real man would not allow that.”
Furthermore, Nedu advised against engaging in altercations with other men over romantic relationships. He emphasized, “Secondly, never fight your fellow man because of a woman. Real men don’t do that.”
Addressing relationship dynamics, he added, “Even if you catch your partner cheating with another man, you don’t have any business with the man. It’s your woman who disrespected you in the first place. So, therefore, never fight another man because of a woman.”
Nedu’s counsel extended to matters of pursuit and financial investment in relationships. He cautioned against pursuing women who are uninterested and advised against spending resources on partners who do not contribute positively to one’s life. He emphasized, “Real men don’t spend money on women who don’t add value to their lives.”
His remarks have sparked varied reactions, with some endorsing his views while others critique his perspective on gender dynamics and relationship boundaries.
