New DPO Assumes Command at Fegge Police Station, Vows Crackdown on Crime

Mr. Ekuase Monday, a Superintendent of Police (SP), has officially taken over as the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Fegge Police Station in Onitsha, Anambra State, pledging a strong stance against crime and urging residents to share information that could aid in capturing criminals.

During a recent address, Mr. Monday warned criminals in the area to either vacate or face serious consequences, assuring residents that all informants would remain anonymous. “My warning to criminals is clear: leave Fegge or face severe action. With community cooperation, we will work in synergy, as fighting crime is a collective responsibility,” he stated.

The new DPO, who was transferred from Makurdi, Benue State, hails from Edo State. He takes over from Mr. Uche Noah (CSP), the outgoing DPO. He expressed gratitude for the warm reception from Fegge residents and their eagerness to support a crime-free environment, noting that the level of hospitality he has experienced is unmatched in his career.

Mr. Monday affirmed his commitment to ensuring the area remains a safe haven for law-abiding citizens. He emphasized that the Fegge Police Station would work closely with the community to uphold security and urged all residents to remain vigilant and cooperative.
