Nigeria’s Raphael Onyedika has secured the Belgian Pro League title with Club Brugge following a 0-0 draw against local rivals Cercle Brugge in their final game of the season on Sunday night.
Onyedika played the full 90 minutes, marking his 30th league appearance for Club Brugge this season, during which he scored three goals. This title adds to his accolades, having previously won the league with FC Midtjylland in Denmark.
Under the leadership of Nicky Hayen, Club Brugge finished the Championship playoff with 50 points, narrowly edging out Union St. Gilloise by one point. This victory marks the Blue and White’s 19th league title.
