The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) will resume action on Saturday, May 25, following a one-month break. The hiatus was announced last month to allow Rivers United to play their outstanding fixtures.
Rivers United, based in Port Harcourt, will complete their remaining fixture against Niger Tornadoes this Sunday. The NPFL’s Matchday 33 games are scheduled for Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26.
The NPFL has confirmed that the 2023-24 season will conclude on Sunday, June 23. Currently, Rangers lead the standings with 57 points from 32 games.
This resumption sets the stage for an exciting end to the season as teams vie for top positions in the league.
