Two Nigerian referees have been appointed to officiate at the upcoming WAFU B U-20 Championship, set to take place from October 17 to 31. Abdusalam Kazzim will serve as the centre referee, while Mahmoud Yakubu has been designated as an assistant referee for the tournament.
The competition features seven participating countries, with Nigeria’s Flying Eagles competing in Group B alongside Burkina Faso and Cote d’Ivoire. In Group A, hosts Togo will face off against Ghana, Benin Republic, and Niger Republic.
The tournament promises to showcase emerging football talent from the West African region as teams vie for the championship title.
