The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reaffirmed its position that petrol from the Dangote Refinery is purchased at N898 per liter. This statement follows a dispute with the Dangote Group, which has disputed the price, claiming it differs from NNPCL’s figures.
NNPCL spokesperson Olufemi Soneye confirmed to DAILY POST on Sunday that the company maintains its earlier disclosure. “We stand by our earlier stand that Dangote Refinery Petrol is sold to us at N898 per liter. We have documents to back this point,” Soneye said.
This clarification comes after Dangote Refinery began loading petrol on Sunday, with NNPCL confirming that 70 trucks from the state-owned firm were involved in the loading process.
