Renowned Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, has made a significant move in his career by introducing his first son, Clinton Mbaise, to the movie industry.
Kanayo revealed that Mbaise will be joining his production company, Simpliciter Associates Productions, in the capacity of an assistant production manager and personal assistant to the veteran actor.
In a recent video shared on his Instagram account, Kanayo emphasized that Mbaise’s inclusion in the production team does not warrant preferential treatment due to their familial relationship.
Introducing his son, Kanayo stated, “This is Clinton Onyeze Mbaise, my first son. And he is joining us today as assistant production manager and as my personal assistant. Do not treat him like my son. It is a warning I am giving to everybody. He is here to work. He is going to earn a fee like every other person. Do not begin to say na K.O.K son. I no dey for that kind thing. Treat him as a member of the production crew.”
Additionally, Kanayo revealed that Mbaise recently graduated from Babcock University with a degree in Information and Communication Technology. He further disclosed that Mbaise had pursued studies in filmmaking and management before undertaking further academic endeavors.
