The Association of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Managers has extended its congratulations to Finidi George, the technical adviser of Enyimba International, on his recent appointment as the head coach of the Super Eagles.
In a statement issued by the association’s Secretary-General, Daniel Ogunmodede, who also serves as the head coach of Remo Stars, Finidi was warmly welcomed into his new role.
Ogunmodede expressed the association’s best wishes for Finidi George as he assumes his duties as the head coach of the Super Eagles. “Welcome on board, MON,” Ogunmodede wrote on his social media handle. “On behalf of the league club managers, we wish you the very best coach, NEW SUPER EAGLES COACH.”
Finidi George’s appointment comes with a one-year deal and the option of an additional year. The 53-year-old’s confirmation as the new head coach of the Super Eagles was announced by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Monday.
