NULGE Acting President Calls for Increased Productivity Among Workers in Anambra State

The Acting President of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) in Anambra State, Mr. Nicholas Aromeh, has urged workers in the state to prioritize productivity and efficiency in their duties.

Speaking at the NULGE Secretariat in Awka during a courtesy visit by the executive members of the association from Anambra West, Mr. Aromeh highlighted the ongoing efforts of the current administration to revitalize the local government system. He noted that these efforts include extensive renovations and the provision of new equipment to various Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the state.

Mr. Aromeh emphasized that recent training and workshops organized by the Anambra State Local Government Service Commission, which focused on Information Communication Technology (ICT), were designed to enhance workers’ productivity and improve the quality of their output. He urged the workers to support the government’s policies and contribute to the creation of a prosperous and livable state.

In addition, the NULGE Acting President praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his commitment to the people of Anambra West. He specifically commended the construction of the Mmiata-Anam to Nzam road, a project that no previous governor had undertaken since the creation of Anambra State. Mr. Aromeh noted that the improved infrastructure has created a more conducive environment for workers at the Anambra West Secretariat in Nzam, and he called on the workers to continue supporting the governor and to keep him in their prayers.

Earlier, the leader of the visiting delegation, Mr. Jude Offordile, expressed their support for Mr. Aromeh in his new role as Acting President of NULGE. He reaffirmed their commitment to working together towards achieving a better future for the union.
